Nanded: Jathedar Singh Sahib of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj has strongly condemned the attack on Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal inside the complex of Gurdwara Sahib Mata Sahib Dewan Ji in Nanded.
He said that Sikh congregation from all over the country and the world comes to pay homage at Gurdwara Sahibs where prayers are offered for the welfare of all and it is very unfortunate that such an incident should happen at such a place.
Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj said that Sukhbir Singh Badal along with his family has gone to Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Abichalnagar Sahib Nanded as a Sikh devotee to visit the Gurdwaras, where he was accorded full respect and honour by the Singh Sahibs and administrators of Takht Sahib this morning, but the attack on him by some mischievous person inside the complex of Gurdwara Sahib Mata Sahib Dewan Ji is a highly condemnable act.
He said that such an incident not only hurts the honor and respect of the Gurdwaras but also the image of the entire Sikh community. He said that a true Sikh of the Guru cannot attack any Sikh who has come to pay homage to the Gurdwara Sahib and the person who does so cannot be a Sikh.
