Chandigarh: A special biographical documentary show based on the life and political journey of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is going to be aired on the world’s famous channel Discovery soon. The show has been named ‘Satouj To Sansad’, the trailer of which has been shared by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann himself on his official social media account (X).
When and in how many languages will the show be aired?
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that this special show will be aired on Discovery Channel on Sunday, August 30 at 7 pm. To reach out to viewers across the country, this biographical show is being aired in 7 different languages. Appealing to the people, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann wrote, “Do watch this special show based on my life on Discovery Channel in 7 different languages.”
Family and friends will share memories
This documentary meticulously depicts the story of Bhagwant Mann from a simple ‘master’s son’ to the highest political office in the state. In the show, his mother Harpal Kaur, sister Manpreet Kaur and many close artist friends from the entertainment world will be seen sharing their memories and stories of struggle from their old days.
There will also be a focus on political journey and achievements
The film shows his political journey from People’s Party of Punjab, to becoming a Member of Parliament through Aam Aadmi Party in 2014 and 2019 and taking over the state as Chief Minister in 2022. Along with this, some of the major initiatives of the Mann government, such as providing canal water to the farm fields, Universal Health Insurance Scheme and ‘Mawan Dhiya Satkar Yojana’ have also been specially highlighted in the documentary.
